For smooth and precise pointing, use the pan handle Alt-Az control with clutch to navigate the sky. To track an object in the eyepiece, move the clutch in a left/right, up/down and left/right directions.

For easier viewing, the 5×24 finderscope can be used to quickly center an object in your eyepiece.

The smartphone adapter allows you to create stunning images and videos of celestial and terrestrial objects. This accessory is lightweight and rigid, and allows you to attach any smartphone to the Travel Scope’s eyepiece. Your phone can capture stunning images of the Moon, planets and other celestial bodies thanks to the additional magnification offered by the eyepiece. The smartphone adapter can be attached by simply clamping it over an eyepiece. Tightening knobs secure your smartphone in place by holding it in place with the help of a clamp that fits over an eyepiece. Celestron also offers a Bluetooth shutter release, which allows you to remotely trigger the shutter on any Android and iOS smartphone. This will allow you to capture the best image possible, while not affecting the location of your phone or telescope. NOTE: Large and/or bulky phone covers (including folio-style cases) might need to be removed in order for the adapter to fit the phone.
